With a vision to serve the community, A. W MedPlus Maldives Pvt. Ltd. was formed in 2012 to cater to the medical requirements of the flourishing hotel & tourism industry of the Maldives. Our analysis of the medical need of the resorts and hotels in the Maldives concluded that there were immense gaps within the resort organizational structures that did not account for many of the necessary medical services. Hence, we stepped into the market to fill the gap, by providing the best medical care onsite with a vision of being recognized as a trusted and professional health service provider in the tourism industry.

Our services aimed at establishing a highly professional health environment in resorts with quality medical care services such that it will totally eliminate the need for micromanagement by the resort management concerning any medical issues. In this regard, we have demonstrated records of success in our business associations with some of the leading international luxury hotel brands in the Maldives.

We did not stop at just this success in the tourism industry, this was just a stepping stone for MedPlus Maldives to reach out and serve the community. In Maldivian community, there has always been a high requirement of health security and access to healthcare. Health within reach of every island has been a dream for a long time. However, analysis and research shows that this need can be only satisfied with access to technological, economical, and quality resources for the health professionals to utilize in their practice. This led to our next step, distributing medical equipment from well established brands from all over the world, at affordable prices and providing after-sales services that will ensure the continuity of medical services that utilizes equipment sold by us.

After three years of providing medical equipment to small private healthcare centers, resorts and non-profit organizations, we are proud to say that we provide health and medical equipment at the most competitive prices without compromising quality or aesthetics that are expected by patients as well as health professionals. We are also proud to say that we have the most extensive after-sales service in the Maldives, which ensures that; no service that the client provides through equipment brought from A. W MedPlus Maldives, will be discontinued for repair and procurement purposes. Once a company purchases from MedPlus, the service will go undeterred by repair or damage.

WellCare Medicals

We are the clinic which introduced Home Healthcare Service officially in Maldives, Male'. This allows the patients to receive healthcare at the comfort of their own homes at their own feasibility. Under this service, we provide consultations by trained General Practitioners who strive to provide a more personalized healthcare service. If the patient is required to do some blood tests, our qualified medical team will take care of it. You do not have to visit the lab to give samples as our trained nurse will come to the patient’s house and retrieve any sample required. Furthermore, the test results will be collected and delivered to your doorstep. And to make it easier for the patient further, we also purchase and deliver the pharmaceuticals prescribed by our doctors to all patients.

Along with the home healthcare service, Well Care Medicals specializes in Pediatric and Gynecology. With these specialties in mind, we ensure to bring in the best and trained experts with the experience to ensure that the patients are provided with the best healthcare opinions they could get. For any follow-ups, the patient will not have to worry to make an appointment or remember the date as the friendly staff at our clinic will note any follow-up dates and make the appointment for the patient. Reminders will be provided to the patient to ensure that they do not miss any aspect of the treatment.

Our services aim to make healthcare more accessible to the patients at their convenience. Our home healthcare service eliminates the need to wait in long queues to consult a doctor or to make an appointment, especially while feeling unwell. All our services ensures that the course of treatment of the patient is well monitored and organized without the patient having to take the burden on their own.
